原创音乐喜剧《米饭和薯条》
虽然多伦多的春天遥不可及，但是march break近在咫尺；如果你还在为春假的亲子活动安排而烦恼，不用担心！多伦多有一班热血沸腾的文艺青年正为你呈现一出新鲜火辣的原创音乐喜剧《米饭和薯条》。
“室内乐音乐会+话剧？”；“什么东西？听都没听过”，当你听到‘室内乐话剧’这几个字的时候是不是也有同样的反应？这就对了，这个构思是由北京不靠谱沙龙创始人张科民和新音符音乐舍创办人邓凯荣在饭桌上迸发出来的奇思妙想，旨在普及古典音乐之余，加入话剧文化的喜剧元素，发掘并开创传播古典音乐的另一种艺术形式。
一般来说，普罗大众对传统的古典音乐都有一种敬而远之的感觉，因为觉得严肃音乐过于深邃难懂；听音乐会前既要了解乐曲背景又要装束打扮一番；而且觉得听音乐会的过程太无聊太压抑，因此很多人与古典音乐擦肩而过。为了打破这种固有的偏见，让更多年轻一代的观众有更好的观赏体验，同时又能更好的了解和欣赏室内乐，张科民携同著名剧作家Duncan William Johnstone Westwood联合编写剧本，情节既跌宕起伏又幽默有趣，角色更邀请到多伦多当地年轻音乐家来扮演并穿插古典音乐表演，所以，这是一场古典音乐会？还是一出话剧？你说了算！
如果你没去看（听）过一场有剧情的音乐会，或者没见过音乐家同时也是话剧表演者，或者没见过钢琴家站着弹琴，又或者没见过音乐家在台上吵架，《米饭和薯条》将满足你所有好奇心。剧中融合了古典独奏和室内乐作品以及喜剧小品和魔术等多元化表现形式，想在音乐厅里既能尽情欢笑又能欣赏古典音乐的你，还等什么？3月8号不见不散！

Eros Tang – 邓凯荣
Eros Tang is a rising artist in Toronto’s music scene. Eros has been concertmaster of a number of orchestras, including the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto Philomusica Orchestra. As a Chiron String Quartet member, Eros was awarded the first prize at the Felix Galimir Chamber Music Competition. He has performed at various music festivals including the Festival Pablo Casals in France, Orford Music Festival, and Domaine Forget Academy. Eros has attained the Artist Diploma at The Glenn Gould School and his Bachelor and Masters of Music at the University of Toronto under the guidance of Erika Raum, Teng Li, Annalee Patipatanakoon, and Timothy Ying.
Yung-Yu Lin – 林咏瑜
Taiwanese violinist Yung-Yu Lin is a doctoral candidate pursuing a DMA degree at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music, under the tutelage of Timothy Ying. She earned her Master of Music degree in violin performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and Bachelor of Music degree from the National Taiwan Normal University. Yung-Yu has participated in international music festivals, including Britten–Pears Young Artist Programme and amongst others. In 2017-2018, She has won Felix Galimir Chamber Music Award and Mitacs Globalink Research Award, and performed a guest solo recital at Lehman College, the City University of New York.
Jessica Zhang – 张倩霞
Jessica Zhang expresses her passion and artistic imagination for music as a devoted soloist, chamber musician and collaborator. Active on the performance scene both in China and in Toronto, she has performed in many venues including Flato Markham Theatre, The Newmarket Theatre, Richmond Hill Centre for Performing Arts, Isabel Bader Theatre, Hongkong City Hall, Xinghai Concert Hall and so forth. She has internationally won numerous awards and scholarships with privilege to perform in master classes under world-renowned artists including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Hung-Kuan Chen, Lum-Sing Lee, Martino Tirino, Peter Frankl, John Perry, Duphil Monique, Yoshikazu Nagai and Dang Thai Son. Ms. Zhang graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under the tutelage of Gabriel Kwok, and currently finishing her Doctorate in Musical Arts at the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Marietta Orlov.
Kemin Zhang – 张科民
Born to a musical family in China and raised in Canada, Kemin was brought up bi-culturally and was influenced by music and theatre since childhood. By age 19, he had alreadyy become a regular at comedy clubs such as Yuk Yuk’s and The Laff Resort in Toronto. Kemin’s Teleision career began in 2004 as a magician on CCTV and had numerous guest appearances on reginal channels across China. After writing, producing, co-directing and starring in a few commericial gigs for international brands such as Motorola, Siemens, DHL, NBA, and Lenovo, Kemin turned his interest to the stage and made his debut as a musical theatre director in a production of the musical “Oliver!” with the International Festival Chorus and Children’s Choir in Beijing. In addition to numerous awards, he also founded the Bukaopu Concert Saloon, as founder and CEO of WDTSF and Executive Director of Li Delun Music Foundation, Kemin continues to dream up new ways to contribute to humanity without causing too much damage.
