关于我们
工作室面向7-12岁学生，以乐高Mindstorm EV3为主要教具，FLL比赛任务为实践对象。基于自主设计的课程体系，使学生在实践中，提升对STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) 相关学科的兴趣和能力。

课程安排
单次课时为2小时，每次课程由三个环节构成，首先结合具体情境提出问题，引入理论知识、设计解决方案；根据方案进行模型搭建和编程，此环节中学生两人一组配合实现目标；最后为报告环节，每组学生将完成口头或书面实验报告，分组展示自己的作品。教师分析总结重点知识内容并引导讨论，提出引申扩展问题供学生课后思考实践。
配合上述课程，工作室提供自由搭建活动时间，提供分阶段不同主题的搭建说明和任务挑战，使学生有更多自主探索的机会。

刘老师，计算机应用博士，八年高校教学及研究经验，安省FLL, FRC竞赛机器人设计裁判。

About Us
Robot-K is a robotics club for 7 – 12 years old students, dedicated to providing rich hands-on experience with robotics to enhance their interest and ability on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Based on our independent designed curriculum, we mainly use Lego Mindstorms EV3 kits and prepare the students by practicing on missions from FLL competitions.

Our Classes
Each class is designed for 2 hours, divided into three sections. At first, a real-world problem is introduced, teachers will lead the analysis for solving plans and also introduce involving theoretical knowledge. At second section, two students as a group will design and implement their solutions, including construction and programming. At the third section, each group of students will finish their oral or paper presentation, sharing among the classmates. At last, the teacher will summarize the key points and lead the discussion, raising extended questions for further studying after class.
As a supplement, we also provide “Free Construction” classes. Students can use our equipment to explore and study independently according to their own speed and interests with the help of our leveled instruction booklets and challenge booklets.

Ms. Liu, Ph.D of Applied Computer Technology, eight years of teaching and researching experience in university, certified Ontario FLL, FRC robot judge.
